Sony's Ethics and Social Responsibility


Throughout the years, Sony has been known for creating products such as the playstation to enhance society's experience with up to date technology as it is big on getting on. In May 2003, Sony adopted the Sony Group Code of Conduct, which sets  policies about  ethical business practices and activities on such topics as respect for human rights, safety of products and services, environmental conservation and information.   When using Sony Entertainment Network, This includes your use of any sharing or communication features available that allow you to share messages, comments, pictures, photographs, videos, game assets, game videos and other information.





Sony consist of 7 Corporate social responsibilities as listed below.

3.Product Responsibility
4.Responsible Sourcing
5.Training and Development
6.Community Engagement
7.Innovation








 These CSR are described in Sony Group Code of Conduct below.


"It is the core corporate responsibility of Sony Group to the society to pursue its corporate value enhancement through innovation and sound business practice. Sony Group recognizes that its business activities have direct and indirect impact on the societies in which it operates, and therefore sound business practice requires that business decisions give due consideration to the interests of its stakeholders including shareholders, customers, employees, suppliers, business partners, local communities and other organizations. Personnel must endeavor to conduct the business of Sony Group accordingly."

Sony believes such CSR activities of each employee can realize the sustainable society and advance Sony's business value.
